Float Friday #2 Pure Vanilla.

Spring is here and summer is on the way which is why I am (officially) starting Float Friday where I make as original as I can floats with these boundaries: I can not make any root beer floats, creamsicle (orange or grape soda with vanilla ice cream), cream soda and vanilla ice cream or any spiders ( coke and vanilla ice cream). I am also going to do a Microwave Monday where I make a microwave recipe with only one rule: no repeats. If I have already posted (on EetrsObsessions and not on BoyWhoCooks) a recipe I cannot repost it. Otherwise I can make any cake that I want!

The ingredient:
One bottle of vanilla flavored soda
One mini carton of Haagen Daz Vanilla Bean Gelato
a cup ( I frosted mine in the freezer)
and a straw.

Start by adding a small amount of soda.

Scoop all of the gelato over the soda.

Top with enough soda to fill the glass and as always enjoy!

Floats! #1 Caramel Apple

A float is one of the best foods ever. There are the classics like a root beer float, spider ( coke and vanilla ice cream), creamsicle ( orange or grape soda with vanilla ice cream), and cream soda with vanilla ice cream. All of these use vanilla ice cream but some floats use chocolate or raspberry ice cream . My floats will be none of the classics ( I define 'classics' as the first list above ). I will use different sodas and ice creams. My first is a caramel apple float where I use Jones Apple Soda and Häagen Dazs Dulce de Leche ice cream ( I used one and a half of there single serving cups of ice cream ).

The ingredients:
Half a can of Jones Green Apple Soda
1-2 single serving Häagen Dazs Dulce de Leche ice cream
A glass
a straw

Fill your glass with a small amount of soda.

Add your ice cream. I used one and a half mini cartons of ice cream but use as much or as little as you want.

Top with more soda and ice cream and enjoy!

What is EetrsObsessions?

Eetrs is a character that I both made ( with a needle and thread ) and thought up ( his background story, the world he lives in, and the people he meets). As you might have seen from previous posts I very much enjoy drawing, writing about, and posting about Eetr. He is basically a fish/lizard/human creature with bright red fur that is half tiny hairs and half tiny feathers. He has a forked snake tongue and a long tail that ends with a spiked ball ( just like dinosaurs and I know sounds funny but just bear with me ). After that odd description I have some drawings that I have done of him that should help with your idea of what he looks like:

You can see the zipper that I had added to the real hand sewed one. In this picture he looks a bit mad but I have others that he looks less mad in such as:

As you can see he had no opposable thumbs just flipper like arms. The second picture is of Eetr if he was in Minecraft. Eetr and Minecraft actually go very well together. Why they work so well together is because Minecraft has skins, texture packs, and mods so add some of them together and you get an original map. You can also make giant redstone contraptions that make your world seem more complicated . So basically Eetr and Minecraft go great together.
Eetr is a big part of a big world me and my brothers ( doubleTap  and Huulktya ) have created. In the this world there are about 10 dimensions, ( If your interested click HERE  and if one of the characters or places catch your eye just comment and I can tell you all about it.) 50+ characters, and many planets. I could write about Eetrsworld all day so I will keep this post short and end now thanks for reading!

More Minecraft skins!

Minecraft is what I think is the most fun and personalize able game ever. You can make Minecraft have custom texture packs, skins, and mods. Modding Minecraft is very hard but making skins and texture packs is quite easy. What I use to make all of my custom skins is the Skin Creator For Minecraft you can find it at the App Store and it works great. But if you enjoy personalizing Minecraft and want a challenge than try making your own texture pack. How you do this is you go to Library ( I don't know how to do this on a windows computer) find Application Support go then find the file labeled Minecraft and open it. After that go to the Bin file and you will find a Minecraft.jar file. Now this is were it gets tricky. Download the Unarciver and right click on Minecraft.jar and select Open with and choose the Unarciver. A file called Minecraft should appear above if you click on that you will get a TON of files, classes, and images. Find the files named
Achievement,  armor, art, environment, gui, item, misc, mob, terrain, title, pack.png, pack.txt, particles.png, and terrain.png
and copy them in a file that is labeled the name of your texture pack ( make sure the copied files do not end with copy). Finally you can move your texture pack to the file in Minecraft called Texture Packs. Now that you are done that load Minecraft and click on the Texture packs button. Your texture pack should be there. If this all worked then you can start to change the look of your Minecraft world. Find a coloring app such as Photoshop and start editing. One quick hint is that all of the images fold together so when you edit them they will be very hard to tell what part is which but you should get the hang of it. Lastly by changing the Pack.png and naming it pack.png again you can have your own image to go with your texture pack. By the way this tutorial is for Minecraft 1.4.7 and not 1.5.

My Favorite Chocolate Mug Cake

Today I am doing another recipe from my old blog BoyWhoCooks. This one was my second post to ever make so it wasn't very good. That is the reason that I am redoing this post. Anyway this recipe is my favorite mug cake (closely followed by the mocha one) and I am looking forward to sharing  it.

The ingredients:

1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar ( brown or white)
1/4 tsp baking powder
2 Tbsp cocoa powder
3 Tbsp oil
3 Tbsp milk
2 Tbsp beaten egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
Your choice of topping such as a Tbsp of peanut butter, chocolate chips or both you choose.

Start by adding the dry ingredients it a large mug.

Mix them together.

Add the wet ingredients.

And mix that together

Add your toppings. I would suggest the tablespoon of peanut butter if you don't mix it in
the peanut butter melts and becomes a sauce. If you don't like peanut butter then try it with caramel, marshmellow fluff, or just chocolate chips. This recipe can have almost any topping so choose your favorite.

Microwave for 1-2 minutes. Top with whipped cream, ice cream or nothing at all. Enjoy!
