Float Friday #15 Home Made Ice Cream-[FAIL]

While this isn't technically a 'float' it is still an essential part of floats. This is a basic recipe I found on Sorted's new cook book Food With Friends which has 3 main ingredients:

2 1/2 Cups Cream
vanilla
One Can of Sweetened Condensed Milk

So as you know from the title you know that this a total fail! If a big bowl of greasy frozen whipped cream is appetizing to you then this is the recipe for you. While I love Sorted's cook book I think that it could have done without this recipe. Here is a photo                                                                                                     of the finished product and I think this recipe just needs a little work.

Finally I want to say that I hope that the other recipes from Sorted's are good and not like this one and as always enjoy ( greasy ice cream ).

Float Friday #14 Coconut

There has been way too many weird floats lately. And I was about to make a Bacon Maple float when I realized that I should make floats that people will eat and not just be grossed out by. So to go back to the norm I am starting with just pure coconut!

The Ingredients

Vanilla Ice Cream
A bottle of coconut soda
a glass
a straw

Start by pouring a small amount of soda into your glass.

Scoop n your ice cream.

And top with more soda, a straw, and enjoy!
